It's been a while since we have shared a project reveal. We have been busy bees working on several projects, but with the COVID delays it has been taking longer than usual to complete projects, so we are very excited to finally share this project reveal!
We started this project last November where our client called us in to help with her Living room and Master bedroom. She had a great start with the basics, but needed our help to add the finishing touches and to complete the spaces. The project then evolved to us to complete the guest rooms, and to then transform a bedroom into a home office for our client.
For our client's office she really wanted "her" space where she could get away and work, or read books for her book club. She wanted the space to be a reflection of her and to have all the things that are calming and comforting to her. She is from California and loves the beaches there, so we incorporated some pops of soft blues for color, then some beach scenes and images that remind her of home. Incase they have guest that come and visit that can't make it up the stairs the sofa is a pull-out making this space truly multi-functional.
Our client's husband lived in Africa and Indonesia and had several items and art from those places. For those items to make the most sense it is best to create groups and to have them together instead of spread all throughout the house. We decided to use those travel pieces in the two guest rooms, and made one the "Africa" room and the other the "Indonesia" room. The rooms now feel like destination spots right in their home.
